Gijón/Xixón Turismo has delivered last Thursday 21st October the first Biosphere Sustainable certification diplomas achieved by companies and entities of this Biosphere Destination, with which they publicly demonstrate all the sustainable efforts they have been implementing in their business activity, aligned with the 2030 Agenda, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations and its 169 goals.

Specifically, the entities that have been working on the Biosphere methodology since last April and that have managed to recognise their efforts, obtaining this internationally recognised label are: the Parador de Gijón Molino Viejo, the Hotel San Miguel and the Artisan and Ecological Market. On behalf of the entire Biosphere team, we would like to congratulate them not only for having achieved this seal, but above all for having started on this path and for the efforts and sustainable actions implemented in the process, carried out by all its actors, workers, collaborators and other stakeholders.
