The Conference of Sustainable Tourism that takes place in Arona, 15 and 16 June, which will be attended by different members of UNESCO, UNWTO and the Secretary of State for Tourism of Spain, already has a preliminary program. During the Conference, organized by the City Council of Arona and the Responsible Tourism Institute, the international organizations convened will approve the new international requirements for Sustainable Tourism of Destinations, through the adoption of the Arona Declaration.
Guests speakers and confirmed personalities included Matilde Asián, Secretary of State for Tourism; Fernando de Pablo Martín, President of SEGITTUR; Daniela Otero, President of Skal Club International and Ignacio Calvo Herrera as Acciona's Director of Technological Innovation, among others.
