On 2, 3 and 4 November, Seville will host this new edition of TIS, which will present the latest technologies, solutions, innovations, models and trends that are transforming the tourism sector.
The aim of the TIS, Tourism Innovation Summit, is to help the tourism industry face all the short and long term challenges facing the sector, such as: the reactivation of the industry after the expansion of COVID-19 on a global scale; the creation of safe travel experiences, with inclusive tourism value propositions; and facing the threats of the digital era and the technological innovations that can somehow affect the sector, among others.
Thus, Seville will once again host three days of disruptive masterclasses in which different cases of success in the sector will be debated and presented in order to face these and other challenges. As in every edition, TIS is the leading event in Tourism Innovation and an opportunity to connect with international players and figures of interest for business transformation and competitiveness in the tourism sector. This year, international speakers will present numerous solutions for the sector to meet these challenges.
Among the confirmed speakers who will present their success stories and their experiences in the sector when facing these challenges are members and collaborators who have opted for Biosphere for tourism management and alignment with the 2030 Agenda and the 17 SDGs, such as: Ellen Walker-Matthews, CEO of Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association (TOTA), Biosphere Gold Certified destination; Sira Puig, strategic director of Sitges Tourism, Biosphere Gold Certified destination; and Glenn Mandziuk, CEO of the Sustainable Hospitality Alliance and member of the scientific council of the Responsible Tourism Institute (ITR).
